Stone runs entirely on your local device hardware. It features no login forms, sync servers, or cloud dependencies. Projects, audio tracks, and lyrics are written to local sandbox folders and managed via SQLite. This guarantees privacy and zero network delay.
You can export finished song multitracks to MP3 (192kbps), WAV (lossless stereo mixdown), or M4A (lightweight compressed). The render runs locally using FFmpeg command filters. Once completed, files can be passed directly to native OS sharing sheets.
The "Make It Sound Better" button activates our parameter-based mixing heuristic. It analyzes your active tracks: the lead vocal is positioned in the center, instruments (like guitars) are slightly attenuated and panned slightly left, and harmonies are panned wide right to create spatial clarity.
Mobile operating systems frequently cycle application folder GUIDs during system updates. Normally, this breaks absolute file paths saved in databases. Stone solves this on boot: it detects current container folder paths and performs an automatic database search-and-replace to heal all track paths.
No. Stone collects zero analytics, tracking cookies, user statistics, or crash reports. There are no tracking scripts or network modules installed. Your files remain entirely on your device, private to you.
If you encounter database bugs, audio recording errors, or FFmpeg render halts, file an issue in our tracking repository.
